The goal of this series was to share "a slice of life" in a relatable and enjoyable way. All of the photographs were taken at the Blacksburg Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting on December 3rd, 2021.

The recently crowned 2021 Miss United States, Samantha Anderson, returned to Blacksburg to celebrate with her own float for the Blacksburg Holiday Parade on December 3, 2021. Anderson graduated from Virginia Tech in 2019.
