Sequence Assignment
The sequence is a combination of wide, medium, and tight match cuts to illustrate something newsworthy in the NRV. My sequence focuses on “The Color of Freedom: Honoring the Diversity of America’s Servicewomen,” an exhibit in Virginia Tech's Newman Library honoring the diversity of American women in the U.S. military.

Package I is the next level of the sequence in that includes sources, a voiceover, and a standard outcue. I focused on "Take Back the Night", a rally organized by Virginia Tech's United Feminist Movement to address the magnitude of gender-based violence on campus and in the

Package II
Package II is the biggest and lengthiest assignment of the semester because it includes three sources, an on-camera standup, a zoom interview, and follows Freytag's structure. I focused on Virginia Tech Special Collections and University Archives, “Words of Children ''exhibit, which displays over 150 letters, drawings, and gifts that were sent to Virginia Tech from all around the world following the tragic events of April 16th, 2007.
